DAILY WALK
Would you pray with me for a very important meeting today and for God's Will to be accomplished.
Today we read Numbers 16-18 and Luke 9. It is of little joy that we read of the death of 14,700 of the Israelites and 250 during the rebellion of Korah, Dathan and Abiram. It was costly to stand against the leadership established by God for the rebellion was against God Himself. It was the priesthood they rebelled against that actually brought a stop to the plague that would have killed even more if Moses and Aaron had not intervened. In chapter 17 we learn of God's voice in the rod or stick of Aaron that budded. This was placed in the ark of the covenant. Chapter 18 God gives instructions for the care of the Levites and the priests.
Luke 9, since we have gone over this in the previous Gospels I drop to verse 57 and the last verses of chapter 9. Remember no one having put his hand to the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God. Those from the farm will tell you that in looking back the row will certainly become crooked. Let us walk straight before the Lord.
Pray one for another
