Praise God it is Sunday Morning and I am looking forward to seeing you all in church today. Services at 9 and 11 am with Sunday School at 10 am. Evening services will be at 6 pm. The above was my uncle. I am saddened to have not had the chance to know him as I grew up but I am proud of the bravery and loyalty of a young boy that fought for his country. I think of my uncle JC every year at Memorial Day and I pray for all the families that have a lost a loved one in service to our country.

Today we read in I Chronicles 14 and 15 where we see God blessing David and his kingdom. David learned to seek the wisdom of God and He instructed His will for David to follow. God blessed David with many victories and he was feared and respected throughout the land.

In I Corinthians 11 Paul gives a warning to those who would take unworthily of the communion. Every heart should be right with God before accepting remembrance of the broken body of Christ and His shed blood.

Congratulations to Jordan and Alex Cornelius on the birth of a healthy son. This makes Andy and Jennifer Farmer grandparents and Anderson an uncle.

Pray one for another
